Wednesday was LOATH.

Oops, no, no, no - back up…

One does NOT loathe Wednesdays, in fact many of us love Wednesdays, for that is when the LOATH gather.

The nine “Ladies Of A Thousand Hobbies” meet to share our latest crafty interests, laugh, ooh and ah over new discoveries and creations. We enjoy inventing, reinventing, venting and, especially, the laughter!

We owe our name to our own very creative Lady Diane. It must be noted, however, that her husband believes we should be called LOATHE, as in “Ladies Of A Thousand Hobbies Everywhere”. Could he be talking about the visible projects, or has he found ALL of the stashes?

Knitting was in vogue yesterday with most of us working on things that lend themselves better to conversation than concentration, but one of our bravest members was attempting to turn the heel of her first sock without a pattern!

It’s time to reinvent a basic sock formula, but first: a few very basic socks – and, YES they do all have completed partners!
